A5 Error Code
The A5 error code is classified as a low-pressure error code. The following troubleshooting must take place as a preliminary troubleshooting measure.
Check Points
- Enter function setting F3-40 before powering down the system to allow the error code to be fully reset.
- Check running pressures with gauges or through service tool.
- Perform leak checks using a sniffer, soap bubbles, or UV dyes.
If the following troubleshooting procedures are performed and the issue persists then the problem may be caused by an electrical failure.
- This error code will only occur with a 1 to 1 matchup indoor and outdoor.
- The code only shows up when the outdoor ambient temperature reaches temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
- This is a “fix on fail” scenario meaning it will be serviced on site by an authorized licensed technician.
