Wall Mounted RLS3 Models

Applicable for models: ASU9RLS3, ASU12RLS3, ASU15RLS3

Disassembly Instructions: Wall Mounted RLS3 Models

Pull forward and remove the front cover (Fig. 1), the air filters (Fig. 2) and electrical cover (Fig. 3). Remove 8 screws, red arrows (take photos in to reassembly)

Underneath indoor unit, remove 3 screw covers and 3 screws located under covers. (Take photos to reassemble)

With a flat-head screwdriver, locate the top corners of the unit, Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 where corners clip into the wall bracket. Gently pry the top corners up to unclip from wall bracket. Pull the cover towards you, Fig. 3. (Take photos to reassemble)

Remove screws to access electrical compartment, red arrows. (Take photos)

Unplug all molex plugs and remove ground screws.

1. Remove 1 screw, remove white cover.
2. Remove 2 screws, start pulling down gently and slowly around motor housing.
3. Remove 2 screws, start pulling down gently and slowly where larger arrow is pointing at.

Evaporator coil.

Note: Make sure fan motor wire harness is routed the same way it was taken out.
