Replaced the PCB board in the branch box of a 1 branch box, 3 head Fujitsu mini split system. I have ran the Check Run multiple times and always get a PCL error. No wiring changes were made except for removing the wires from the old PCB in the branch box and attaching them to the new PCB. System will not run at all until the Check Run is complete. I did find info to set the outdoor unit to F3 and run Operation 36 before running the Check Run. I was hopeful this was the issue but I get the same PCL error after running Operation 36 and then the Check Run. The only info I can find is that PCL means the number of pipes is less than the number of wirings. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get the unit to successfully complete the Check Run procedure so that it can operate. Thanks in advance.

The PCL error code is normally related to wiring or refrigerant charge issues. This model has slightly different charging requirements than other H series models, so the outdoor installation manual is a good reference point for this information. If both have been confirmed to be correct, it may be a good idea to call in to our technical support line at 866 952-8324 to speak to a live technician.

Home owner couldn't find the outdoor install manual. The unit was installed 8-10 years ago by a different contractor. Would you happen to have a link to it? Where would the wiring issues most likely be? Branch Box, Outdoor Unit, between the 2? When running F3, 36 the outdoor unit displays done, and then flashes zeros, then the display goes blank. The instructions I found online regarding this, say the display should return to 36 but it never does. Also, is there anyway to “override/bypass” the Check Run to get a more specific error code from either the outdoor unit or one of the indoor heads? Thanks for the response!
