Has anyone run into this error? I have an indoor air handler throwing this error which tracks as an indoor blower motor error but the motor tests fine and everything seems to be working correctly.

For now, you can try running the indoor unit at a fixed fan speed (Ex: High, Medium, Low) as opposed to running the fan speed at auto. That should decrease the frequency of the error appearing. Currently, we are working on a firmware update for this error code. Unfortunately, an exact time frame for this firmware update cannot be provided, but it should be available within the next several weeks.

I also had this issue, the error code 51.6 appeared a few times on my thermostat (wire controller error history). I called my Elite contractor and he replaced the fan motor along with the electronic board and about 7 months later the code appeared again? So I'm also interested to know the fix to this issue.

I had the contractor over my house 2 times for this issue ( error code 51.6)
1- the first time this error code 51.6 appeared it was 4 months after the system was initially installed. Like I mentioned in previous post the elite contractor technician came and replaced the fan motor and the electronic board.
2- the second time this error code 51.6 appeared I called my contractor and he had me reset the system, the procedure was simple all I had to do for the reset was to turn off the breaker. This quick fix was supposed to solve the issue, well it did not.
3- the third time the error code 51.6 appeared I called the contractor (hvac technician) again this time he came to my house and re-routed the wires around the electronic board. The hvac tech reassured me by saying the code will no longer show up… I have my doubts but lets wait and see its has been 4 months since and I have not seen the error 51.6 code yet….
Hope the problem is fixed and this error code does not show up again.
